Description: City on Fire is a multi-disciplinary communications studio specializing in reaching the elusive and discriminating indie 18-36 year-old audiences, as diverse as they are.
Traditional marketing agencies struggle to effectively connect with this audience because in many ways this audience doesn’t want to be reached, doesn’t like being told what to do, doesn’t see itself as any target audience, and prides itself on seeing through the bullshit.
City on Fire’s small core group, as well as the majority of its broad affiliate membership, has an average of 8 years experience communicating with the indie market and its various subsectors. Most importantly, this experience is not just on a professional level but on a personal one as well – We are the indie 18-36 year-olds and we know how to reach ourselves better than anyone else can.
Don’t underestimate our professionalism though. Being young and indie is not equivalent to being a slacker. We consistently deliver high-stress projects on short deadlines and have exceeded expectations because this is our passion and our art and we will never treat it (or you) like a 9-5.
We build effective plans incorporating a number of angles from the tried and true to the experimental. One foot in the now and the other in ten minutes from now.
