Description:
The third book in A. N. Wilson's trilogy of British histories, begun with The Victorians, and continued with After The Victorians. For a book that traces the changes in British identity over the latter half of the 20th century, I chose to mix elements from two icons of design (the 1939 Ministry of Information KEEP CALM poster, and Jamie Reid's famous cover for the Sex Pistols' God Save The Queen single) that represent totally different Britains that we can be nostalgic for, or horrified by, depending on the lens we use. In addition, neither of these represents a current British identity—the one that the author argues is either lost, or totally nonexistent.

Yet another brilliant cover – man this site gives me so much design envy.
