What's Your Story?

T-shirt logo design for Unity Monrth 2007 for the Office of Multicultural Programs and Services at Emory University. Their theme this year, "What's Your Story?"

The idea as concocted between the Letter People-type characters to realistically drawn faces to octopus puppet masters. The common element between all these crazy ideas was the telling of a story which led me to the "Speech Bubble."

From here I had different ideas of drawn faces with supporting speech bubbles with a symbol representing what their story could have been. I also had thought of speech bubbles in the shapes of faces. But I think the best idea came out here with a large speech bubble as the environment for all these people to tell their story. Using the silhouette idea from the M.O.R.E. design, we've placed the characters into an environment, so to say, that gives them a sort of action-feel now, the feeling of acting and reacting upon an event.
