Working on a large scale project can often be described as a
rollercoaster ride. With so many human factors and time and resource
variables involved, there can be a whole week without any progress, or
a day with a significant leap. Luckily, all members involving the
production of this website displayed indestructible determination,
carrying the website from scratch to full blown. This would not have
been possible for the enlightening guidance of Dr. Stephen Codrington,
Ms. Esther Chau and Mr. Kok Ming Lee, and of course the most valuable
input of the LPC Netorial Team.
The new site boasts the following new features: Of the first, there
is a new "Blog" section which can alert vistors certain subtle changes
and happenings of our college important but not significant enough to
make it to the news section. We would also try to incorporate articles
from school magazine By the Way. On the other hand, the newly
established Editorial Section of the LPC Netorial Team would provide
visitors with vivid stories of college events: Cultural Evenings,
Dramas, Competitions.
Of the second, we have renovated the media gallery section and it is
now divided into Videos, Photos and Artistry. Of videos, we showcase
reels of fasinating college events. Of photos, we display all the
colors of LPC life. Of artistry, we aim to provide a platform for
Visual Art students to show off their work.
Last but not least, this site is piled up from scratch with limited
resources. If you find any word errors, bad links etc. please forgive
us. Taking a leaf out of the UWC values, we also ask you to report the
faults to us, thus bringing the site to a better phase everyday.
