Description:

Before the age of barbed wire fences, cattle were allowed to roam the prairies. In order to tell which cattle belonged to whom, cattlemen would brand their livestock. Each brand was a unique symbol of a specific cattleman. After the great plains were fenced in, ranchers continued to brand their livestock in an effort to thwart thieves.

The "Rocking I" is the cattle brand our family has used for over 50 years. It is the symbol E.C. Crofoot designated for his cattle. The Crofoot family continues to use this brand. (Click on the image above to see the Crofoot brand.)

Our logo takes the concept of the Crofoot brand and transforms it into a reflection of our company. It melds feminine Victorian design with the masculinity of the Old West. It builds on the rich heritage of E.C. Crofoot while being distinctly "us".
