Project Bureau and Hitachi Design Centre Europe joined to re-define the boundaries of Hitachi best-selling Flat Panel display business by imagining the next generation of displays as an interactive medium, a locus of physical and digital expression.

The public can browse information channels, navigating by hand gestures that the display can sense, eliminating the need to touch any surfaces that may be spoiled by dirty environments. Hitachi Dokodemo display features powerful and customisable Bluetooth software that enables the public to download digital content, such as movies and maps, to their Bluetooth mobile phone or where some contexts demand, the Hitachi Dokodemo display can receive files from the public and display them just as easily.

Dokodemo's gesture navigation hardware and software was invented by Project Bureau and Hitachi Design Center Europe to create a unique and memorable user experience.
