Witchcraft and the supernatural have always been a fascination of mine.
Especially having been raised in a family that practiced many of these beliefs. So I created a Qee series based around witchcraft as a way of doing more research into the topic. There is an African medicine man. Then there is the Namahage of Japan, which comes into the house of children to scare them at night. Lastly there is Elegua from Cuban Santeria, which is what I was raised around. Great care was taken to translate these revered spirits into dolls without offending those who believe in them.
