This board game arose while looking at Japanese woodblock prints and
games like Shogi and the Chinese Go. Shogun is a game played between
two Daimyo’s fighting for political and economic power. The objective
of the game is to capture all of the competitor’s land or to have him
assassinated. The game was meticulously crafted from an eight-foot
plank of solid oak and serves as both carrying case and the board game
itself.
