Description:

These two poster are from a poster series of six was created with two other designers while attending college and working with the Kutztown University of Pennsylvania's Office of Campus Living. The purpose for the posters was that the students living on campus needed to be aware of what their actions will carry if they get caught with illegal substances, pulling fire alarms or even throwing a party in their rooms.

As I stated above there were two other designers, each designer (including myself) chose a different visual approach after discussing amongst each other the various directions that could be taken for the posters' various topics and information. After we had rough drafts completed we showed the drafts to the Dean of Campus Living and he chose my style/approach. From there I was made the Art Director by the group and made sure that the other designers were following the approved visual approach and also was helped with attaining the needed photo assets (handcuffed hands, party scene, room and such).

The above are the two posters I had created. I chose a punk approach to help create contrast and pop the posters away from all the traditional posters and flyers one would find on a dorm hall's wall.
