Fifth Third Bank hosts a 25K in Grand Rapids MI every year. A group of 6 and myself created the theme of the race "Set your sole on the horizon." the illustration for the theme, t-shirt designs, and billboard.
The theme has a double meaning, sole—for the sole of the runner's shoe, and soul—for the sweat and tears runner's put into training and completing the race.
The illustration of the theme is a shoe print from afar, and up close has the horizon of Grand Rapids, and the river reflecting the horizon.
The race day tee is a representation of the runner completing the race (setting their sole on the horizon) with the illustrated shoe theme crossing the finish line.
The training day tee comes out the same time as the billboard, and both contain the "running man logo" Fifth Third Bank uses every year.
