The biggest challenge when photographing something so small and flat is keeping the complete product in focus and three dimensional. To accomplish this I used a light tent, lighted the product from behind to create spectral highlights on the top surface, and photographed the board at an angle. This works especially well because the information and detail the customer wants to see is on the top surface not in the shallow front were the shadows fall.
