First took a photo of Hank and separated itno tonal values. Then scanned text documents from Hank Williams records, books, etc and printed them on newsprint of varying values. Most tedious part was cutting out the shapes from the newsprint and pasting in place. Kind of like a layered jigsaw puzzle. One of my favorite pieces.
