42Records is a brand new Italian indie label owned by one of my best friends. He asked me to design the logo. I thought it should have been simple and powerful, about a forthcoming thing. I made two versions: one with the 'records' word and one with the mere number. Then I've been asked to make a cover for a free compilation. I had this illustration about a lonely space cadet (another project I'm still working on) and I thought it could work for it.
