The Challenge After several successful years of offering fine portraits and photography services to the greater Orlando area, Christopher Yates Fine Portraits needed an upgraded brand presence that catered to a blend of target markets including the new High School Senior Portraits Division.
The Process CYFP wanted to rebrand its acclaimed portrait and fine photography studio and update its collateral materials to reflect a simplified, modern message that catered to a larger variety of clients. The Studio has seen recent success in its High School Senior Portrait division, as well as other initiatives directed at the “younger” markets.
FiveSeven spent an extended period of time researching the target markets and conducted user studies and reviews to understand the desired message and image. We then created a brand identity that reflected the elegance of the previous identity, but offered a more simplified, contemporary image that can be promoted across a wider range of mediums.
FiveSeven also updated several of the CYFP collateral materials, and continues to assist in the development of seasonal promotions, and various marketing materials.
The Results
Through the use of more targeted marketing initiatives, and the promotion of the refined brand image, CYFP has experienced some of the best High School Senior Portrait seasons in company history. More and more younger clients are approaching CYFP due to the contemporary feel of the brand in addition to the award-winning photography and creative expertise. The new brand will continue to be integrated into the CYFP marketing strategy, and continues to receive positive reviews and reflections. The new brand is also much easier to integrate into mixed media and various mediums such as apparel, print collateral, motion graphics, and signage.
