Description:
Aurora Trace is an intuitive control system for a media centre PC. The light path 'traces' the movement of the finger to give visual feedback. The control can be used as a trackpad mouse as well as a directional control pad.
I had a problem with the way in which media centre PCs are often changed very little in order to fit into what is a completely new environment. How can you use a mouse and keyboard from you're sofa? These items have evolved over the past 30 years to deliver comfort and efficiency from a desk, but they are not well suited to be used when reclining in a sofa.
The Aurora Trace allows users to navigate menus, scroll though lists and browse your computer desktop within one device which can be held in either hand, or rested on your thigh.
