Although I'm only a 2nd year student and the department web page is the responsibility of the teaching staff and the 3rd year students, I was asked to help out (read: save the day) when their HTML guy got frustrated and just gave up.

They gave me the design as an illustrator file, and just needed me to make a web page out of it. I've created the pages with standard CSS and HTML; the other guy was working on it in tables. Right now we're going through and putting the content in, and somehow I got roped in to doing that as well as other random tasks.
