I was briefed by Andrew Smith at Penguin UK to create a bright, fresh new look for two classic Bill Bryson titles. Having spent time researching the various illustration elements it was nice to get away from the computer screen and get my hands dirty making and photographing the 3D paper character for this title and the typographic insects featured in the next project.
