I did these comps for Julianna Lee at Little Brown as a redesign for the paperback. I was hired to come up with a concept and create a piece of art but decided to pitch the typography and overall design as well. Julianna was really encouraging. We went through several rounds and versions. In the end we liked these two directions very much- sales department, not so much.
