Description:
Paperback cover for Best New American Voices: Fresh Fiction from the Top Writing Programs series. I redesigned the series for the 2005 edition but we decided to change it again for the 2006 edition and that design stuck until the 2009 edition. Harcourt was recently purchased by Houghton Mifflin so it's doubtful the series will be continued but I hope it will as I really enjoy exploring the color possibilities for these titles.
The 2009 edition is my least favorite palette. For this project I typically submitted 15 or 20 color options and sometimes my last choice is the one chosen.

Thanks for the kind comments. I think 2008 is my favorite also. There will be a final 2010 edition and I'll post that one as soon as a color theme is chosen by the publisher.
