How's My Advertising?

Client: Blood sucking Advertisers | Submitted: October 30, 2007 | Updated: December 04, 2008

I leased a voicemail service, making these bumper-sticker inspired things meant to cover a logo on an ad, neutering it's message and asking people to respond to what they were seeing. It was a street spoof on, "How's my driving" where irate drivers would complain about a commercial vehicles driving.

What I got was (mostly) funny drunk kids, calling late with humorous advice. I did receive some very keen and serious critiques (as well as angry people annoyed with the stickers.)

These sound files were burnt to Cd's and mailed to Advertisers in NY, so they could hear honest crits from NY's about how advertising affects their community. how it portrays stereotypes, and how it lives in their space. (most funny ones where left in, minus the guy who called just to moan into the receiver for 3 minutes).
