This is my first experimentation with clay and three-dimensional work. Within it, I make a commentary on the fashion industry, and on society's obsession with weight. In doing so, I chose to sculpt the models like mannequins since this is what they are essentially utilized as, as well as the irony of the French word for model being: mannequin. I wanted to utilize it as a zoo like exhibit, in order to reflect the chaos of a model's life and the fashion industry, in addition to showing how they are like animals in how in their work they are trained to do as told
