Assignment from Graphic Design in Summer 2008

Create a display font with accompanying poster.
Include A-Z capital & lowercase letters, numbers 0-9, and a quote written out in the font.

While making this display font, I was interested in attaining a slim outline that was pushed to the edge of readability.  Much like a coffee ring, what is left of the letters is merely their residue on the surface.  The poster design is an early work for me in Illustrator: a learning experience in converting a raster image to vector as well as integrating brushes.
