given the task of branding a technology conference while using a given set of identity standards already in use, i chose to follow the standards used for the transport for london. for this project we had to follow our chosen identity standards as close as possible and create a name and tagline for our event as well as a logo and poster design. i chose the arrow motif for my logo because of the movement it symbolizes and because the transport for london is concerned with transportation and movement. the image for my poster is taken from an old photo of train transport from the 1960’s. i chose it because of its bold graphic quality and relevance to my subject matter.
