Description:
Cover and interior design for Wil Wheaton's Memories of the Future: Volume One required a look that would work over a multi-volume line of books. This design aimed to resemble pulp storybooks of yesteryear while clearly evoking memories of Star Trek: The Next Generation. A simple palette makes it easy to color-code each book's cover, not unlike the way Star Trek DVDs (and crew members) are color-coded. Notice, too, the orange icon in the lower corner, which will adapt throughout the series to reflect the nature of Wheaton's Wesley Crusher character in each volume.
Project completed using hand-drawn elements, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
