826CHI is part of the 826 family of non-profit tutoring, writing and publishing centers founded by Dave Eggers and geared towards helping students discover their voices through writing. A strategic plan for design and content organization was critical to capture the contagious energy of the writing center and also to provide parents, teachers, and volunteers with easy access to an abundance of information. An ExpressionEngine driven CMS allows everyone from the Executive Director to the volunteers to easily manage the daily life of the site.
