Oh, hey. Thank you, Steve! I art directed the photography and I scanned the record. The inside joke is that I got the author, Gary Phillips, to pose as his own character, Ivan Monk. I'm fond of this one too, more as a whole package than the cover. I know from your work that we've both sort of played riffs on the Blue Note style. I confess that I think the flaps are pretty cool too; one of those ideas that become a thumbs-in-the-suspenders moment.
