Description:
This is a logo I developed for Pete Skellenger who creates some fantastic things out of wood on his lathe. Pete sells bowls, wine stoppers, spoons and other things so I didn't want to represent him with any one object - instead choosing to let the letter forms suggest the chisel and curls of wood that come peeling off the piece he is working on. The color pallet is burrowed from the fairly exotic woods he uses all of which is acquired as reclaimed material and much of which comes from his family homestead.
