After being named by the International Design Alliance (IDA) as the World Design Capital 2010, Seoul hosts a three-week-long event (October 10 - 30) at their Jamsil Olympic stadium. 

What began as a "micro-idea" in 1999 of starting a contemporary character design archive has since evolved into book publishing and festivals showcasing some of the finest examples of character art, animation, illustration and design today.  

It’s no small fact that the University of Florida has been hiding a great annual graphic design event. The students put together a symposium that includes some known and respected graphic designers and a rockin’ student juried show.
