The SCAD illustration department was recently named one of the top five most innovative programs (and was the only U.S. program named) by Applied Arts magazine, highlighting SCAD as a university where educators are preparing students for the changing world of design. SCAD Savannah seeks candidates for a full-time professor position in illustration to help continue this record of success.

Qualifications:
- terminal degree or its equivalent in illustration or a related field
- professional experience producing illustration in both traditional and digital media
- strong drawing skills
- a unique style, aesthetic and viewpoint
- ability to encourage experimentation and to help students generate work in a range of styles and media
- several years of commercial and college-level teaching background preferred.
