Day rate up to £150 based on experience

In The Picture is a film production and training agency. We urgently require a junior designer/ creative art worker to support the in house team. To be considered for this role you must have at least 2 years experience in repro and print processes and be able to create immaculate artwork for a variety of print marketing materials. (We need to see this in your portfolio.) This is also a creative role so a graphic design qualification would be desirable. You will be working closely with a senior designer, director and a team playing a key role in enhancing the design, visualising and preparing artwork for print and web. You must be confident in working from scamps or Mac visuals and must be an expert in Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. You have to be fluent in Apple, backing up and installing new software etc. Interest and knowledge of HTML and web design would be required. Please apply with CV and work samples.
 
Required:
    •    Proven track record of 2-3 years experience in graphic design/ artwork in a studio environment
    •    you have to be an expert in Indesign and Photoshop
    •    Must be detail-oriented, to work quickly, be deadline driven, able to multi-task and have flexible working hours
    •    Pro-active and able to show initiative/ideas to constantly improve the creative quality of work
    •    Solid experience of working across a range of print and web design projects from websites to new media, video and print
    •    Advanced working knowledge of Illustrator and After Effects
 
Desirable:
    •    Knowledge of HTML, CSS, WordPress and social media tools
 
Basic Job Description:
Reporting to the Design Director and the Director, you will be working on design and  completion of materials from conception to final print deliver. You will be required to attend client meetings as required.
