About Us: hoverState
hoverState is a small digital agency of about 25 people with offices in SF, LA, and UK. We design and build websites, software, and mobile apps for global ad agencies and major brands in a variety of industries. All of our core team come from the agency world, so our clientele is legit, our pace is fast, and our solutions are well rounded. This means we expect anyone that works for us to do what it takes to get things done and communicate if "surprises" pop up.

Wanted: Art Director for Digital Applications
Looking for Art Directors in the Los Angeles area with lots of experience in the digital space, rather than traditional print media. We need creative, innovative, fun people who see the digital experience as a living, moving space to be designed. Must have an understanding of current web technologies and use them as the building block for your work, which may include creative for websites, interface design for software, and exciting user interactions on mobile devices. Experience with interaction design and wireframing is a major bonus. If you don't know it, learn it!

All Applicants Must:
Love technology and the experience that it can create for people.
Have ample examples of digital projects like websites, emails, banners, apps or widgets, etc.
Be able to take an initial concept and take it through the entire design process
Be comfortable working with other people and presenting your work to a critical group.
Be adaptable and willing to grow out of your comfort level when the job demands.
Like "The Simpsons."
Be located in the LA area and willing to work onsite up to 3 days pers week.
