Job Description:We're seeking an outstanding designer. Not just an Information Architect or Visual Designer, but someone who understands the entire design process. Someone who can dazzle us with their visual design ability and apply their expertise in both HTML and CSS to implement their designs. We are looking for an individual who can take a creative concept from design software of choice (photoshop, fireworks, crayons) to finished code (xhtml and css). We’re looking for an all around talented designer who can and will wear whatever hat necessary to create a truly stunning final product.Specifically we are looking for… • 3+ years with core web technologies (HTML, Javascript/DOM, CSS) • Previous experience developing UI interfaces or presentation layer web sites/applications • Ability to create valid, table-less layouts, using only CSS for presentation • Understanding of the intricacies and sometime insanities of cross-browser development (hello…IE6) • Some experience with prevalent Javascript toolkits/frameworks • Experience participating in the complete project lifecycle (strategy, content development, design, implementation, deployment) • demonstrate strong design skills including screen layouts, information design, and typography, and must have a great eye for detail • Ability to work well with a variety of people including Product Managers, Designers, Information Architects and Developers • Strong portfolio is required **Extra Credit for Knowing who Zeldman, Cederholm, Wroblewski are.
