Job Description:

Art Director is responsible for interior and cover design of all HMH cookbooks and guide books as well as some general trade titles. The director supervises the design and design approval process of their own work, as well the work of freelancers. Executes designs, sets copy, prepares files for the printer, and reviews proofs, with careful adherence to schedule and budget. Conceptualize and present designs which meet editorial and marketing requirements. Assign and manage the work flow of outside freelancers. Works independently to manage their projects and designs.
