Summary:
We are a series A funded, early-stage startup with offices in San Francisco and NYC. We are seeking a talented mid-level to senior web designer who is passionate about the spa and well-being industry. Must have experience working with large scale interactive sites and consumer brands, as well as comfort with social media, SEO and User-Centered Design. At this stage of the startup we need people who have a sophisticated design aesthetic and are passionate about health and wellness. We are seeking people who truly want to be at the heart of a start-up, people with an entrepreneurial spirit who want work they love---not just a job. This position is located in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the extension of corporate brand identity into online and offline media
- Develops strategic design directions for web site and interactive media
- Designs web pages based on marketing and business requirements
- Creates marketing collateral to support business development and CRM
- Develops new and exciting interactive solutions

Qualifications:
- Detail oriented + grasp of the big picture
- Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator
- Understands web design fundamentals including usability, SEO, and general technical capabilities of browser technologies
- Aware of current trends in interactive design, online marketing and advertising
- Embraces social media
- Self-directed and comfortable working in a team environment
- Aptitude and desire to solve complex design challenges
- Able to work independently with minimal direction
- Comfortable with fast-paced, start-up environment
