I'm not that big of a fan of Coldplay anymore, but this commercial is so well done that I had no choice but to get excited. The concept is nothing new, but the execution is so absolutely perfect that it is every bit as effective as the very first iPod ad (everything in the middle isn't worth mentioning in my book). The lighting, rhythm, timing, everything is there. A wondeful marriage of audio, video, and motion graphics!

on June 03, 2008 “Graphically I think this spot works. I do agree that the design is beautiful, but I don't like it. I don't because it doesn't seem like it fits the style of the album. Its so Apple iTunes and doesn't really make me want to buy the album. It just seems more for Apple and not Coldplay. Good thing I already bought the album. ” |

So do we, and their new album is exlusively on our service", not "Hey! We're Coldplay and you can get our new album on iTunes"” |
