Sky Screen, Beijing

In Beijing China, Silk Street is a shopping center that can accommodates over 1,700 retail vendors. The street is very popular among the international tourists for their wide selection of counterfeit designer brand apparels. Two new retail centers is in development in Beijing’s central business district. You can see between those retail centers a huge suspended LED screen. Five individual displays have been combined to form the giant screen. It was built with an investment of $32 million. The Skyscreen is 250 m long and 30 m wide. It was designed by Jeremy Railton, president of Entertainment Design Corporation, who was designer of the Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas.
