Logo Wit

I am impressed by logos that seamlessly marry the most incompatible relationships, in this case I found "Seagate". It marrys a sea and a gate (duh). It ALSO moves the logo forward, but in both a clockwise direction with the wave, and in a counter-clockwise direction with the portal (although the portal moves forward, it also moves down and in). And, finally, hidden but hinted at is a nod to the yin-yang symbol.

It probably also has something to do with the *spin* of a disk drive, too. I've always liked the old Northwest Airlines logo by Landor Assoc. The one integrating the N and W and compass direction into one mark.
