Peter Sarkisian: Dusted
| December 26, 2007

I like the art which break the notion of materials and blurs the boundaries of each mediums.
like the work of Tony Oursler, the work by Peter Sarkisian straddles the boundary between sculpture and video.
the work by Peter Sarkisian, Dusted is one of my first inspiration. Sarkisian’s cubes are themes on the human life cycle. like his work Hover, the work Dusted taps into elemental human themes that allude to pivotal moments in the human life cycle. A minimalist cube that suddenly transforms itself into an illusion of a transparent space enclosing the figures of a male and female, giving the viewer an exploration into voyeurism.
