Giant Nintendo (NES) controller and coffee table

“Made from MDF and painted with a variety of oil based and acrylic paints”, Kyle Downes goes to great lengths to create this giant, over-sized NES controller/coffee table.


Unfortunately, he's not the first one to make this absurdly large styled box controller as Swedish students made one (pictured above) for a class project in 2007 [Project Page via Gizmodo via TechPowerUp via Technabob]

Downes improved upon its Swedish cousin by adding a nice glass top to convert this novelty 2-person single controller into a fun & functional coffee table.
