Cawdor Castle, Home of Shakespeare's Macbeth

I recently discovered this in an old issue of House & Garden (June, 2006). According to legend, around 1372 A.D. William the Third Thane of Cawdor built a tower where his "donkey came to rest." Odd, but apparently true.
