The word "katachi" meant the essence of Japanese design—the form, symmetry, and workmanship of traditional craft.

A design studio in Osaka with the name, Katachi first caught my attention in a book titled, " Japanese Graphics Now!"

Work from Katachi always carried a sense of airiness and understated simplicity.
