| March 17, 2008

From Anatomy of a Murder to Goodfellas, Saul Bass pioneered and defined film titles and title design for over 40 years. He is Best know for his work with Hitchcock but has worked with some of the greatest directors ever and influenced countless generations.

Although not as well known as his film work, Bass also created some of Americas most iconic logos, including minolta, united Airlines and AT&T

His work is still massively influential today, from the controversial poster for Clockers, to the cover for the White Stripes Hardest Button to Button
