Shailesh Chavda has a small, but visually interesting collection of German matchbox label designs from the 1960s/70s on flickr. The above "erdgas" label almost looks like a book cover design. But, don't miss the other sets for Russian, Indian, Japanese and Czech matchbox label designs.
