Frank Lloyd Wright Buildings
| March 06, 2007

I've personally only seen three FLW sites — the Guggenheim Museum, his studio and various houses in Oak Park, and buildings on the campus of Florida Southern College. What is interesting to me about his architecture is the *context* — literally what is around it. Where Falling Water may integrate into the environment, his houses in Oak Park stand in clear contrast to the Victorian neighborhood surrounding them. They must have been a stunning surprise when they were first built.
