P22 held a contest way back in 2004 for playing card design entries featuring type from their foundry. The unique limitations clearly bred supremely creative type design.  They featured another competition in 2008 which is also quite impressive.  The decks can be free with $100 worth of product or $10 alone. This seems like it would have been a nifty assignment in art class yet something that would drive the best design out of a seasoned pro. I best be ordering one up.
