The Cheese Monkeys by Chip Kidd is one of my all time most favorite books. I am sure most have read this but if you haven't you should. I am a big fan of Chip Kidd, he does inspiring design and this is very much reflected in his writing. The way he writes is almost like that of an interesting design. The themes and concepts arranged like brightly colored shapes drawing the reader in. Look out for the type changes in the second semester, such smart design. The book is just plain brilliant from the inside out.
