The London Business Forum presents two fabulous conference talks early 2008, from two of my leading icons of creative education.
The first, The War for Talent (The Other Climate Crisis), an afternoon with Global Business Guru, Sir Ken Robinson:
"Most people accept that the earth is in a climate crisis and that the misuse of natural resources by the industrial economies is at the heart of it. Sir Ken Robinson argues that industrialism has produced another, less understood climate crisis. This is a crisis in the use of human resources and its consequences are just as serious. He'll say what the crisis is and what individuals, organizations and governments can do about it."
The second - The Creativity and Innovation Business: The Lesson for Today Comes from Tomorrow, from the magnificent Richard Gerver:
"It is universally acknowledged that competitive advantage comes from the people in your organisation, the talent. People conjure up new ideas and organisations have the opportunity to foster environments in which those creative ideas can be implemented through innovation. However, new ideas and innovative cultures are not always the norm in business."
