Ira Glass’ nonfiction recommendations
| November 08, 2007

I initially picked up The New Kings of Nonfiction in the airport purely based on the striking color combinations and design (almost looks like a screenprint). But this anthology edited by Ira Glass (host of radio programThis American Life), is a great collection for anyone weary of large doses of nonfiction. The book is an eclectic volume including the following authors: Jack Hitt, Malcolm Gladwell, James McManus, Dan Savage, Chuck Klosterman, David Foster Wallace, Coco Henson Scales, Mark Bowden, Lawrence Weschler, Bill Buford, Susan Orlean, Lee Sandlin, and Michael Pollan.

The book cover design is by Ben Gibson .
