Camille Rose Garcia & Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
| February 08, 2010

With watercolor and acrylic, Camille Rose Garcia creates a new illustrative interpretation of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. The newly packaged unabridged classic has a distinct personality setting it apart from the numerous other illustration styles associated with the book throughout history. It is filled with imagination and a vibrant color palette and has a slight Goth aesthetic. The gift book is published by the Collins Design division of HarperCollins.

Not to be overlooked is the lovely interior design of the actual book by Agnieszka Stachowicz (who is also credited for the design of the dust jacket).

Artist Camille Rose Garcia will have a book signing and exhibition to honor the book release at the Merry Karnowsky Gallery in Los Angeles on March 6th, 2010. Below is a brief video with illustrator Camille Rose Garcia discussing her process creating the illustrations for the new edition of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland:

The book hits the bookstores about a month before the highly anticipated film adaptation by Tim Burton, Alice in Wonderland.

So is this going to be limited, or available at all bookstores?

I picked up a copy at Barnes and Noble earlier this week.

Cool thanks. I'm going to have to check it out then. I'm really liking the look of the book (even though I'm not a Charles Dodgson fan.)
