I've been saying I should bring my lunch to work for years. It’s often my new year's resolution that last for at most 3 days.
Now I am finally inspired by the project of Jeffrey Yamaguchi. To keep him motivated he documented his meals and started a contest on flickr.

I remember in school my design professor always compared colorful ingredients for cooking to great, balanced design. And I've been reading a bit about the Japanese cuisine Kaiseki, which has much to do with arrangement of color (often one color from each color range).
